An outstanding example throughout, It was on 20th March 1990 that a Mr Martin Cramp, of Stourport-on-Severn, purchased the car and within a matter of months decided to transform the look to a "Flachbau" or Flat Nose style front end. The Flat Nose stemmed from the Porsche 935, which had been successfully campaigned in long distance endurance racing in the late 1970s and early '80s. Mr Cramp commissioned AutoTech Motor Engineers of Stourbridge, an Approved Porsche Body Repairer, to carry out a full 'Flat Nose' conversion on the car. This was done over a 3 year period, costing £21,543 in parts alone and a further £9,000 in labour, giving a staggering total bill of £30,543! A comprehensive invoice listing all factory parts and correspondence between owner and specialist can be found within the history file, documenting the work undertaken.
